This Mid-Autumn Festival, ALBA continues to choose local fruit—Formosa Ganlu pears from Dongshi, Taichung.

 

The reason for selecting Formosa Ganlu pears goes beyond their rich flavor and sweetness; their most distinctive reason is their harvesting period, which is about 20 days later than other pears growers. This reflects our company’s philosophy—taking the extra time to invent the best tools for the world. By selecting the finest, largest pears, we also express our heartfelt gratitude to all our employees for their dedication and hard work.

The orchard of this young farming couple, who grow the Formosa Ganlu pears, is located near a leopard cat habitat. Their farm has not only earned a leopard cat-friendly certification but also implements sustainable and low-pesticide management practices. This high-quality management approach improve agricultural development, ensures biodiversity in their orchard, and greatly enhances the safety of wildlife.
